How It All Began…

During the construction of his own home, Gregg Schwager was given a rare opportunity to apprentice with Wes Terry, who built his own Construction Business of 45 years on the basis of trust, integrity, and always giving the other guy the better end of the deal.

Wes believed in doing every aspect of the construction process himself, assuring that his customers received the very best quality workmanship possible.  His business was totally built on word of mouth referrals from one happy customer to the next.  He always enjoyed a reputation for being one of the highest regarded, skilled craftsmen in the area.

During his apprenticeship with Wes Terry, Gregg  learned many skills of the Trade - from masonry, framing, trim carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and painting;  to the installation of  flooring, siding, windows and doors.   In addition to learning the careful and diligent application of the skills of High Quality Home Building, Gregg learned how to build a network of happy, satisfied customers by overdelivering on promises and always giving the customer what they want - from one of the very best around.

Wes Terry’s work ethic, pride in workmanship, genuine care and commitment to the happiness of each customer, and reputation for honesty in dealing with his customers lives on through Blue Ridge Windows, LLC!

The idea to combine old fashioned Home Building Quality learned from the master, with the efficiency, innovation, and low-cost of being an internet based company, resulted in the creation of Blue Ridge Windows, LLC.

That year of working with Wes sparked a passion within Gregg for what has become his quest for acquiring the tools, knowledge, skills, expertise, and pride in workmanship that he learned from a master craftsman in Home Building.

Many remodeling projects later, resulting from his investment in Rental Property, Gregg has honed his craft and has built a large network of the very best contractors, and craftsmen in the area, learning from each trade.
